SIOP® Into Action

Mrs. Kraydich's 2nd grade class at Manatee Elementary in collaboration with Dr. Chrisphonte (SIOP Coach) participated in a math activity in which students were learning about coins value. This activity provided students with interaction and cooperative learning while practicing all four language skills and learning grade level content.

Elizabeth Kraydich class is enjoying the inside-outside activity. Students were solving Math activities using additions and subtractions. The inside circle played the role of the teacher at first. The outside circle explained how they came up with the answer. During the next round, the roles were reversed. Students were so engaged!
